New Updates To Structured Data Tool Released By Google

Google’s structured data tool updates include a new data testing tool that gives a better interpretation of your website’s content as seen by Google, expanded support for the JSON-LD markup syntax, and improved documentation and policy guidelines. In addition, Google is in the process of expanding support to other markup-powered features.

Google States They Have Addressed New Spam Tactic

A new type of spam has been found on AdSense publisher ads in the form of flash. This new type of spam tactic auto redirects ad traffic to a different site than intended. There have been many complaints about this problem to Google and they have released a formal response stating that they are aware of the problem and are working to fix it.

Bing Ads New Bid Preview Tool

Bing has introduced a new bid preview tool available through the Ad Preview and Diagnostics tool. This tool is meant to help advertisers ensure their text ads are showing in optimal positions with real-time previews of ad position. Previews will be shown via SERP simulations, so advertisers can see exactly where their bid will likely put their ad in an auction.

Google Is Most Trusted News Source 

The 2015 Edelman Trust Barometer reports in their new survey that search engines are now the most trusted source of news globally, surpassing traditional media for the first time. The report surveyed 27,000 adults in multiple countries. It is believed that Google’s global brand strength is a significant factor in these rankings.

Bing Launches Enhanced Sitelinks Globally

After more than three months of availability in the US, Bing has released Enhanced Sitelinks globally. Well almost globally, they have yet to release capability to Hong Kong and Taiwan which should be rolling out shortly. It was also announced that device preferences will be available at the sitelink level as well.
