Google continues to push back Privacy Sandbox timeline
Google announced in July that they were releasing their new Privacy Sandbox in Q4 2021 (right now), but the new expected timeframe is Q1 2022. This matters because any change in the release timeline will likely affect when and possibly how Chrome phases out support for third-party cookies

App campaigns no longer require deep linking
Google Ads announced that App advertisers no longer need to use deep linking to run campaigns for engagement. This is great news for those who don’t necessarily have the tools or developer support to implement deep linking. This allows people to get their campaigns up and running faster than before, though keep in mind conversion rate might take a hit if they’re not landing on a dedicated page.
